Air Con Environmental limited were chosen by MAC of London to design supply and install 3 Daikin heat pump VRV systems over 3 floors of this newly refurbished office in Cowley road Oxford.

From heat load calculations, design, drawings and numerous design and site meetings we specified and installed exposed services on cable tray connected to 8 Daikin VRV cassette units on each of the 3 floors of this fantastic refurbished office development.

The building was taken back to a complete shell with a new 3rd floor being built on the roof of the building including new curtain walling, plumbing including toilets, showers and electrical services being installed throughout.

We installed 3 Daikin VRV condenser units on the roof that were craned into position and also designed and installed all the plumbing services. This including toilets, new waste pipes, showers water heaters, water meters and a toilet extract system on each floor.

Air Con Environmental engineers commissioned the system as Daikin D1 partners with each floor being controlled by a separate Itouch controller so efficient independent control can be achieved.

The water systems were chlorinated post works and all air balancing figures produced and issued within the comprehensive O&M manuals along with as built drawings.

The project was a very challenging one where we had to integrate with the many issues experienced along the way with the main build and weather issues over a very wet winter and spring.

On-going periodic maintenance to protect the warranties of the equipment has been put in place for the landlords.
